Just a quick look at it brings back memories... And that's how well it was done :)

I just wish the girl hugging the guy was more ugly :D Just to be fair

This describes how I felt to a T when something similar happened to me some years ago. The colors, intentional or not, are absolutely perfect for the mood. The woman in the foreground looks absolutely cold, which is exactly what it feels like.

That is a terribly accurate picture.

That's about what it feels like to watch the person you love enjoy the company of somebody else.

From a girl's perspective, that's what I imagine it to be. I've been fortunate to never have my guys cheat on me, but I think I would feel very lost and upset if I did see something like that. Initially anyway, afterwards I'd probably be angry as hell.

How can such a beautiful illustration be so sad?
I feel sorry for the lady in the foreground.
She looks hurt and lost.
I think she is in need of some happy hugs!

Heheh kewl. The original title was 'cheating' so I wanted to show a girl who was sad that her boyfriend was cheating on her. Loss seemed nicer and deeper on the whole though, since its more about the pain of losing someone's love or trust than it is anger. It's not personal, it's meant as a demo piece for the adult market. Sorta stuff that would appear in mags about relationships, that sort of thing.

Pretty cool Syg. Love your stylings. Is that faint background a roiling, churning sea? If so, how appropos. Captured the blue girl's pain in a number of ways, but particularly with just the positioning of her eyebrows alone! Nice work as always! =)
